I have a loved one in the memory care building and have to say the care team is really good with her!  They work so hard and a few of them really stand out like extended family showing much love and support!  Thank you Tiny, Autumn, Edwina and Jasmine especially for your loving top notch care! My mom has recently returned to the Cottages and living with us for several years. I am so grateful every day for the care and love all the staff gives mom! Many of the staff remembered mom and the transition was made easier. They have been encouraging to my family, especially myself as mom becomes a part of the Cottages family. My dad Hank is very happy to be at the Cottages. He was ostracized at another facility because of his alzheimers. Nurse Cathy worked hard to get him on the proper treatment for him, to learn his behaviors, and find his perfect fit for memory care. He's thriving again at the Cottages, clean and well fed, and hugged often! Communication with family is good here, and the staff is lovely. Miss Tiny and Miss Jaz obviously love their residents. Melissa is always offering activities and outings. Missy is a ray of sunshine! Any poor staff behavior seems to be routed out fast. This residence has been a blessing to my family. The Cottages of Perry Hall were a lifesaver for me and my brother.  It was becoming unsafe for our mom to live alone. Missy, Cathy, Autumn and the rest of the team are wonderful.  They are attentive to any questions or concerns we have had and really care about each of their residents.  This is evident by all the activities planned for the residents, community events, the warmth when visiting and their Facebook page that shares all the activities and goings on in the Cottages which is great for all the families. Mom took some time to adjust, but she is doing well and making friends.  She loves to “help” and the staff is very patient. The Cottages of Perry Hall is truly exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the amazing team made us feel so welcome and truly like family. Missy, the Sales & Marketing Director, is absolutely phenomenal—her warmth and genuine care immediately put me at ease. Cheryl, the Business Office Manager, is such a joy to work with, and Nurse Cathy’s communication is top-notch—she keeps me informed and reassured every step of the way. After visiting many other communities and experiencing two others firsthand, this is the only place I feel completely at ease knowing my loved one is being cared for properly. We could no longer take good care of my mom. I had searched many facilities and small homes. When I toured the Cottages, I knew instantly that they were the place that mom would benefit most from. She was admitted to the memory care unit and  the same day she was put on Hospice. Her condition worsened quickly and passed away a few months later. The staff from day one was so kind, gentle, compassionate and knowledgeable about how to best care for her. All my questions were answered immediately and thoroughly and I was updated with every change in mom's condition. The private rooms with in-room bathrooms were lovely and just the right size. Although mom couldn't participate much, the Cottages offer so many opportunities for the residents to interact and enjoy many of their hobbies and there are also outings. I recently placed a family member at The Cottages of Perry Hall. From the moment I met Missy the Sales and Marketing Director I knew this was the place for my family. She told me that I would have a "feeling" when I found the right place and I honestly only ever got that "feeling" at The Cottages. I toured 7 places and although they might "look" nice on the surface,  the love for the residents was not there at the other places. The Cottages is not perfect and Missy told me that in our first meeting, but they DO love their residents with their whole hearts ALL. OF. THE TIME. It is Evident. Missy also checked on our family on a regular throughout the whole process. She definitely goes above and beyond.  Choose The Cottages, you won't be disappointed. Had a meeting and tour with Missy this evening.  It was the best sit down meeting with a personal care administrator we have ever had. I worked 25 years in Healthcare and they have it down the way it should be. Missy had her door open the entire time so residents  can come in and see her. She even de escalated one who was a bit confused.  She knows what she is doing. Loves what she is doing . The residents love her and love being at the cottages. We are going to set up a visit for my mother in law . We hope she likes the cottages.  The staff and residents we met are amazing
